Job Description
- The project aims to improve access to safe water supply and public sanitation services in Port Harcourt and Obio/Apkor and also to establish sound performance and longterm viability of the Port Harcourt Water Corporation to ensure sustainability of services provided.
Education and Experience
- The Institutional Development/Utility Expert is responsible for coordinating and managing the institutional and capacity building aspects of the project.
- A Master's Degree in Engineering, Human Resource or Business Management.
- At least 8 years recent experience in management related activities for urban water services.
- Previous senior managerial experience working with and/or advising urban water utilities on institutional development aspects in developing countries
- Experience of projects involving multiple and diverse stakeholders including Governments, private sector, civil society and end users.
- Experience of institutional and organisational considerations and reforms in general, and in Nigeria in particular
- Working language: English
