Job Title: General Manager Hotel
Location: Calabar
Job Description
- We acquired a Hotel in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
- A self motivated person is required to turn around the hotel and put it proper place in the hospitality industry in Cross River State.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- The Manager sees him or herself as the image maker and conduct him or herself as a true ambassador.
- Ensure retainerships are secured from companies.
- See that the hotel obtains alt relevant licenses.
- Develop menu and grow the kitchen to handle outdoor catering. Coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume.
- This includes advertising, sales promotion, community relations, special sales projects.
- Procure new and repeat business for the hotel by maintaining contact with airlines, travel Agencies, Commercial Houses, Private Clubs and Professional Associations within the community and neighboring markets.
- Conducts interviews for hiring of staff to ensure staffing productivity.
- Is up-to-date with current market trends and the competition, negotiate Suppliers agreements u to the best value for money.
Qualifications & Job Attributes
- Bachelors Degree (minimum of second class lower)
- Professional qualification (an added advantage)
- Minimum of 10 years experience in hospitality management experience.
- Knowledge of Calabar and its environs.
