We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Sales Officer, E-commerce

Location: Anthony Village, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Process online orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, order fulfillment, and order tracking.
  • Manage order cancellations, returns, and exchanges.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/logistics team to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Resolve order-related issues and customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining online product listings, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Ensure product information is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and expansion.
  • Assist in developing and implementing online marketing campaigns to drive sales.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
  • Maintain and update the company's online store(s) (e.g., Jumia, Konga Instagram).
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the online store(s) and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Explore new online sales channels and opportunities.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of online retail principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
