Job Title: Sales Associate
Location: Awka, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and other key stakeholders.
- Present and promote company products and services tmeet client needs.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical and product support tclients.
- Follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to align offerings with market demands.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. Masters degree holder is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, products, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
