Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Petrophhysicist

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent/Full time

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Analysis and interpretation of well log data to assess reservoir properties such as porosity, permeability, and fluid saturation.
• Integrate petrophysical data with geological, geophysical, and engineering datasets to create robust reservoir models.
• Support reservoir management by providing insights into fluid dynamics and reservoir behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in petrophysics within the upstream oil and gas industry, with significant exposure to reservoir characterization.
• Proven experience with advanced logging tools (e.g., LWD, MWD, NMR) and data interpretation techniques.
• Strong background in using petrophysical software such as Techlog, Petrel, Interactive Petrophysics (IP), or similar tools.
• Certification in relevant disciplines or technologies (e.g., SPE Certified Petroleum Professional) is an added advantage.
