We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Festac, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
• General Ledger Management: Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts to help guide the company’s financial planning.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Overseeing the processes of invoicing, collections, and payments, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring that financial practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Audit Preparation: Coordinating with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
• Tax Preparation: Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring that the company is compliant with tax regulations and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
• Internal Controls: Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Cost Control: Monitoring and managing company expenses, advising on cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 - 5 years experience.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
