Job Title: Outside Plant (OSP) Operations and Maintenance Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We seek a highly skilled and experienced OSP Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage our fiber implementation & maintenance teams, field operations, and maintenance activities.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong fibre network infrastructure maintenance, operations management, and team coordination background. This role requires excellent leadership, technical, and organizational skills to ensure the efficient operation of our aerial fibre metro network.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead and manage the fiber implementation & maintenance teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication among team members.
• Field Operations: Oversee field operations and maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to ensure network reliability and minimize downtime.
• Route Patrol Operations: Manage route patrol operations to monitor and maintain the integrity of the network infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with telecoms teams and splicers to coordinate their activities and ensure seamless operations.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics related to network operations and maintenance, ensuring the availability of necessary resources and equipment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of network infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
