Job Title: Guard Training Instructor

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Guard Training Instructor to develop, teach, and train our client’s Physical Manned Guards.
• The successful candidate will ensure adherence to established quality standards and introduce new tools, gadgets, and security technology to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs to militarize recruits.
• Observe applicants to determine physical qualifications and limitations and plan programs to meet their needs.
• Introduce new tools, gadgets, and security technology to manned guards for efficient use.
• Prepare and follow teaching outlines, assign lessons, and correct homework and classroom papers.
• Keep manned guards updated on changes in security service delivery methods.
• Administer tests to evaluate students' progress and provide reports.
• Explain and demonstrate security guarding techniques and methods.
• Provide technical advice and support for strategic service delivery efforts.
• Build morale, inspire achievement, and motivate high performance among students. Research and introduce new methods for better service delivery.
• Maintain accountability of equipment, gadgets, arms, ammunitions, and weapons. Collaborate with other instructors, Zonal Managers, Regional Managers and Head of Operations to achieve the goals and objectives of the Cadet Academy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in working in any private security company or working in the Nigerian Police Force, any auxiliary police force or active-duty military, Nigeria Armed Forces or a National Guard Service.
• Having relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
