Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Ring Road - Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant.
  • This includes overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and maintaining a profitable and efficient business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, cooks, hosts, and support staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and address employee concerns.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

Guest Service:

  • Ensure that all guests receive excellent service and have a positive dining experience.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the guest experience.

Financial Performance:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant revenue and profitability.
  • Manage restaurant budgets and control costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and food costs.
  • Analyze sales data and identify trends.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Restaurant Operations:

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for staff and guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to identify and address any issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Plan and execute special events and promotions.

Marketing and Sales:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote the restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Proven track record of success in managing restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Restaurant industry knowledge and experience.
  • Food Handler's Certification required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
