Job Title: Administrative and Procurement Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

  • This is a full-time hybrid role for an Administrative and Procurement Officer at Otito Studio in Lagos, with some flexibility for remote work.
  • The Administrative and Procurement Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the interior design firm by managing day-to-day administrative tasks and overseeing procurement activities.
  • This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of daily office operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Prepare key documents such as: Letter of Engagements, Invoices, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), Project Schedules and all other relevant documents.
  • Serve as communication liaison between clients and the team, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, client interactions, and office expenses.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, and correspondence.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide support to the team during project execution.

Procurement Duties:

  • Source and procure high-quality materials, furniture, and decor items in line with project requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for purchases.
  • Maintain a database of reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Track and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to project financial plans.
  • Ensure that all procured items meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative and procurement roles, preferably in an interior design or related industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Knowledge of interior design materials and trends is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

N150,000 - N200,000 monthly
