Job Title: Driver

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Description

• The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation:

• Safely operate assigned vehicles, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any maintenance issues.
• Transport personnel, equipment, and materials to and from job sites, warehouses, and other destinations as directed.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Safety & Compliance:

• Comply with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or safety hazards immediately.
• Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers and clients.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other personnel.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Maintenance:

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
• Report any necessary vehicle repairs or maintenance to the designated personnel.

Other Duties:

• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor/Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean driving record with minimal traffic violations.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
• Must be between 30-45 years old.

Salary
N110,000 - N125,000 / Month.
