Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Description

  • The position will be responsible for providing assistance to ensure the day management and operation by overseeing the general maintenance of all the estate residence facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
A summary of role’s responsibility is as follows:

  • Maintain all facilities and equipment within the system and their related issues including,record keeping, repairs, and supervision of personnel working within the facility premises.
  • Maintain records of all assets and conditions of occupancy including sourcing andrenewal of residence for both expatriates and local staff.
  • Coordinate and monitor the services of outsourced companies e.g., Security andcleaning companies.
  • Supervise support staff at the head office in the orderly discharge of their duties e.g.,janitorial staff
  • Monitor the services of domestic workers in the their accommodation
  • Responsible for the monthly payment for Utility such as Energy used, waste disposaland cable subscription.
  • Undertake routine preventative maintenance and respond promptly to reactivemaintenance requirements.
  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all.
  • Perform daily inspections and identify and address issues to ensure a clean and safework environment for staff members.
  • Coordinate and schedule equipment and building repairs, installations, and maintenancework with vendors and appropriate in-house staff
  • Manage unplanned maintenance, repair and recovery for the facility as required within the shortest possible time.
  • Follow-up on timelines to ensure periodic services such as generator, fire extinguisher etc.
  • Energy management: ensure adherence to managing energy sources – turning off lights, putting off equipment, and use of inverter to the firm’s advantage
  • Assist with special projects related to office facilities, including office construction and refurbishments and vendor biding processes
  • Maintain and update fire safety policy as well as HSE policies which are to be communicated to staff and new employees, interns at all times.
  • Manage and ensure routine fumigation of estate.
  • Ensure that basic facilities, such as water, sewer and waste are well maintained
  • Prepare weekly report of facility activities
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as directed by the Senior Manager/Company.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess B.Eng./HND in Facility Management, or Building Engineering or any other related discipline with 2-5 years experience.
  • Professional certification in Facility Management is an added advantage.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Facilities and space administration.
  • Experience in office management software like MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skill.
  • Good team player.
  • Attention to details.

Salary
N120,000 - 140,000 Monthly.
