Job Title: Research and Development Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough research on real estate market trends, demographics, economic indicators, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to identify new market opportunities, emerging property types, and investment trends.
  • Develop detailed reports and presentations to communicate insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of new real estate investment models, products, or services based on research findings.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance teams to design innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, including prop tech solutions, to enhance business operations and customer experiences.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for long-term business strategies and portfolio management.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of potential real estate projects, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and environmental factors that could impact the industry.
  • Manage a team of research analysts and coordinate cross-departmental research initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with external research organizations, universities, and industry experts.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years in research and strategy development
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and leadership skills.
