Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax returns.
  • Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
  • Support the preparation of periodic audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist management in financial decision-making by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (experience in the real estate sector is a plus).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, tax laws, and regulations in Nigeria.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
