Job Profile
- Will develop ideas for new businesses and new products from current businesses
- Will generate and drive the implementation of business development plans of the company
- Will be responsible for leading the business development team and will be personally responsible for executive level relationship management with a view to deepening existing business relationships and creating new relationships as shall be contained in the company’s operating budgets and business plans
- Will oversee the marketing and corporate communications function of the company
- Will develop appropriate cost-effective strategy for identifying and constructing industry-wide strategic alliances to support overarching corporate objectives
- Will monitor and interpret the Nigerian business ecosystem including competitive trends and be required to craft appropriate strategic responses for executive management actions
Person Specifications
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in any acceptable field of study.
- Demonstrable competence in the area of business development, marketing, new product design and launch and implementation of market growth and dominance strategies
- Demonstrable ability to network and manage executive level relationships in a services industry environment
- Familiarity with the financial services environment including products, players, the regulators and the value chains
- Minimum of 20 years progressive work experience in a services industry environment, including the last 5 years in Executive Management position
