Job Description

  • The Head of Corporate Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and operations of a leading broadcast organization.
  • With a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, the successful candidate will be a strategic and analytical leader, driving the company's financial performance and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to support the organization's growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within the media/broadcasting industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Exceptional financial management and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, including cash flow management, capital structure optimization, and investment appraisal.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing finance team while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends, ensuring the organization's financial resilience.
  • Proven experience in identifying and evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities, and advising on financial and operational implications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial challenges and provide timely, well-reasoned solutions.
