Lifting Equipment Inspector at a Growing Indigenous Engineering and Inspection Services Provider

A growing indigenous Engineering and Inspection services provider, based in Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lifting Equipment Inspector

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Perform bi-annual and annual inspection and tests on cranes and lifting tackles as required
• Investigate problems relating to cranes and other lifting equipment
• Prepare lifting plans and supervise lifting operations as required.

Requirements

• Possess an OND in an Engineering discipline with certificate of competence in crane inspection from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar role
• Possession of LEEA diploma is an added advantage
• Must be familiar with relevant lifting equipment standards and regulations
• Must have extensive knowledge of planning and accessing lifting operation
• Should have good communication skills.
