Job Description

• TCR is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Entertainment Reporter to cover the latest in entertainment news, celebrity updates, and cultural stories for its Hausa platform.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for entertainment, be highly knowledgeable about the industry, and have the ability to write engaging and informative content.

Responsibilities

• Report on entertainment news, celebrity interviews, and cultural events.
• Create and develop engaging content for TCR's entertainment section, both in written and video formats.
• Conduct interviews with celebrities, industry professionals, and other key figures in the entertainment space.
• Stay up-to-date with entertainment trends, music, film, and TV news, ensuring TCR covers relevant stories.
• Collaborate with other reporters and content creators to generate fresh ideas for entertainment coverage.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting or journalism.
• Strong understanding of the entertainment industry in Nigeria and globally.
• Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to create engaging multimedia content for online and TV platforms.
• Proficiency in both English and Hausa is a plus.
• Strong networking skills within the entertainment industry.
