Job Title: Frontend Developer

Location: Mowe, Ibafo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development initiatives and architectural decisions
• Build and maintain scalable React/Next.js applications
• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
• Mentor junior developers and interns
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Implement and maintain coding standards
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Optimize applications for maximum performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Core Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with React.js or Nextjs
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering
• Proven track record of building and deploying production applications
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards
• Experience with React Native for mobile development

Technical Skills:

• Advanced state management (Redux, Context API)
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Proficient in modern build tools (Webpack, Vite)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Testing methodologies (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Performance optimization and web vitals
• Cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Version control with Git (branching strategies, code review processes)

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with component libraries (Material-UI, Chakra UI, Shadcn UI, or similar)
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Experience with monitoring tools and error-tracking
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Nice to Have:
Experience with micro-frontend architecture:

• Knowledge of backend development (Node.js)
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with WebSocket implementations
• Understanding of Docker and Containerization
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Technical writing or documentation experience.
