Job Title: Assistant Transport Manager

Locations: Isheri, Lagos and Mowe, Ogun

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily transport operations, ensuring the effective management and utilization of the fleet.
• Manage fleet maintenance schedules to ensure trucks are in excellent condition and meet safety standards.
• Supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and delivery timelines.
• Plan and coordinate the dispatch and routing of trucks to guarantee timely delivery of goods to clients.
• Maintain detailed records of fleet operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and expenses.
• Develop strategies to optimize fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for fleet and transport operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for repairs, insurance, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 - 8 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the trucking logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in fleet management tools and software is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
