Job Title: Male Baker

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Prepare and bake high-quality bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods for customers, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation.
• Working schedule:7:30am-6pm Mondays to Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Mixing and Preparing Dough: Mix, measure, and prepare ingredients for baking, following recipes and formulas.
• Baking and Decorating: Bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to perfection, and decorate as required.
• Maintaining Quality and Safety_: Ensure all baked goods meet quality and safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ordering as necessary.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Required Skills:

• Baking Skills: Proven baking skills, with experience in mixing, baking, and decorating.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in baked goods.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including baking equipment and ingredients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain organization.

Qualifications

• Baking Certification: Certification in baking, such as the Certified Baker (CB) designation.
• Culinary Arts Training: Training in culinary arts, baking, and pastry arts.
• High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

• Bakery Environment: Work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and flour dust.
• Early Morning Hours: Work early morning hours, typically starting before 6:00 am.
• Physical Demands: Physical demands, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
• Resumption immediately

Salary
N70,000 / Month.
