Job Description
Prepare and Serve Drinks: Mix and serve drinks according to recipes or customer preferences, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drinks based on preferences. Ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked with ingredients, glassware, and supplies.
Check IDs: Ensure customers are of legal drinking age by checking identification when necessary.
Handle Payments: Process payments through cash, credit cards, or other methods, and provide change or receipts as needed.
Monitor Alcohol Consumption: Keep an eye on customers' alcohol consumption, refusing service to those who are intoxicated, and following responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Stock and Inventory: Regularly restock bar supplies and ingredients, and report low inventory levels to management.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Cleaning: Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Wipe down counters, and dispose of waste and empty bottles.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws and hygiene standards.
