Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their team as an Account Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the management of their accounting functions.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.

Responsibilies

  • Main finance point of contact with the office staff and Top Management
  • Direct management of Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets of income and expenditure
  • Support in the production of tax reports
  • Payroll Accounting.
  • Proactively suggest ideas for process improvement, sealing losses, and increasing income.

Requirements

  • B.SC / HND qualification in Accounting, Finance or any related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Change management experience is desirable
  • Candidates must have a recognized accounting qualification,
  • Computer literate and proficient with accounting software in addition to Microsoft applications, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.

Salary
N75,000 - N100,000 Monthly (based on experience).
