Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Reports To: Managing Director / Group Internal Auditor

Role Overview

• The Internal Auditor will evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the organization.
• The role focuses on ensuring compliance, safeguarding assets, and driving efficiency in business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans.
• Assess business compliance with policies, regulations, and control standards.
• Provide recommendations to improve processes, systems, and risk controls.
• Report significant risks, weaknesses, or incidents to the Group Internal Auditor.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure accurate, high-quality documentation of audit activities and findings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees
• Professional certification in Accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• Proven experience in auditing, preferably in the financial or insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit tools.
