We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inspirator, MOVE

Location: Abuja

Job Summary

  • The post holder will have the responsibility of working with social movements organisations and support in the coordination of movement activities including trainings, direct actions and other strategic initiatives.
  • The post holder will have a strong understanding of movement mindset and support movement leaders/groups in documentation and ensuring quality and programmatic fidelity that aligns with ActionAid’s processes.

Person Specifications
Education / Qualifications:

  • First Degree in Arts / Humanities / Social Sciences or other related field is essential.

Experience:

  • At least two (2) years post NYSC experience is essential.
  • Experience in implementing trainings and facilitations technique is essential.
  • A good understanding of social movement context from Nigeria is essential.
  • Experience in working in an International Development organisation is desirable.
  • Experience in working with the media is desirable.

Skill / Abilities:

  • Good knowledge and experience with capacity building movement leaders and activists based on the GOLD content 
  • Networking & relationship building especially within movements and activists.
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity building and mentoring of young people
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Excellent research, analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills
  • Passionate about young people and movements.
