Job Description
- The Marketing/Communications Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth.
- This role involves developing content, managing campaigns, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels to align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote products, services, or initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Content Creation and Management:
- Create high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
- Ensure messaging aligns with the brand's tone, voice, and strategic objectives.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage social media accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and followers.
- Oversee SEO, PPC, and email marketing efforts to drive traffic and conversions.
Communications and Public Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Write and distribute press releases and manage crisis communications when necessary.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
- Conduct brand audits and recommend improvements to enhance brand perception.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Use data insights to identify opportunities and guide marketing strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, design, and product development, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for specialized services.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Track and report on the performance of marketing and communication efforts, including KPIs and ROI.
- Maintain an archive of all marketing and communication materials for reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in digital marketing, content marketing, or public relations are a plus.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
- Proven track record in planning and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Skills:
- Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Canva).
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media management, and email marketing.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
