Job Title: Training Facilitator
Location: Keffi, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- To support the achievement of this objective, we are seeking external facilitators with expertise in Value Chain Development, Agronomy, Business Strategy, and Financial Management for mechanization service providers.
- These facilitators will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to participants, ensuring that the content is tailored to the needs of the target audience and effectively contributes to their professional development.
Courses:
- Value Chain and Agronomic Training
- Business Strategy and Financial Management for Mechanization Service Providers
- Project Management for Rural entreprenuers
- Financial Management for Rural Entrepreneurs.
Course Delivery and Facilitation:
Facilitate the courses on the specified topics:
- Provide a mix of theoretical and practical sessions with engaging content, case studies, group exercises, and real-world examples.
- Develop and deliver training sessions that cater to the diverse learning styles and backgrounds of participants.
- Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date, and applicable to the local context and participants' needs.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the training coordinator and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of the courses.
- Provide detailed reports at the end of each course, including participant feedback, key outcomes, and recommendations for future trainings.
Capacity Building:
- Where necessary, mentor participants, providing ongoing guidance and support, particularly for those seeking further clarification or practical applications of the course material.
General Requirements
- A University Degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Development, or related field.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in value chain development in agriculture, agronomy, or rural development projects.
- A proven track record of working with farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs, or stakeholders in value chains.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage the training process independently.
- Previous experience in similar roles ability to speak Hausa will be an added advantage.
- Interested Facilitator should select their area of expertise.
