Job Title: Kitchen Assistant - Tandoori

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoori dishes, such as kebabs, naan, and marinated meats, using traditional tandoor ovens.
• Help with marinating ingredients, prepping garnishes, and assembling dishes.
• Monitor the tandoor oven to ensure food is cooked to perfection.

Responsibilities
Kitchen Support:

• Ensure that all ingredients and equipment are readily available for the tandoori chef.
• Maintain a clean and organized tandoor section of the kitchen.
• Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment.

Food Safety and Hygiene:

• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and ensure all food items are prepared in a hygienic environment.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in checking stock levels of spices, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients used in tandoori cooking.
• Help with receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is stored properly.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Be proactive in assisting team members as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
