Job Title: Deputy Librarian
Location: Plateau
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Deputy Librarian is responsible to the University Librarian and will undertake duties assigned to him by the University Librarian.
Qualifications
- Not less than eight (8) years teaching, research and or professional experience in a University, an institution of University standing or comparable Institution.
- Preferably a higher degree such as Masters or its professional equivalent.
- A PhD degree with a minimum of 5 years of teaching, research and or professional experience in a University will be accepted.
- Scholarly publications (points to be awarded to each),
- Clear evidence or continuing research.
- Outstanding scholarly or research activity.
- Evidence of exceptional teaching ability.
- Some administrative experience in the library
