Plateau State Univeristy, Bokkos - The Governing Council of the Univeristy has therefore decided in accordance with the Law Establishing the University wishes to commence the processes for the appointments of qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Registrar
Location: Plateau
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Registrar is Chief Administrative Officer and the custodian of the Laws/Statutes of the University.
- He shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the overall administration of the University.
Qualifications
- A good Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification plus at least Fifteen (15) years post qualification experience substantial part of which must have been in a University.
- Possession of relevant higher Degree or postgraduate professional qualifications in the appropriate fields would be an advantage.
- Must be on the rank of Deputy Registrar.
Tenure
- The tenure of this Principal Officer of the University is a 5-year single term.
Remuneration and Condition of Service
The successful applicant will be placed on Consolidated Salary with relevant fringe benefits, and will equally enjoy all allowances normally attached to the position of Principal Officers of Nigerian Universities.
Computer Literacy
Candidate must possess evidence of computer literacy and a demonstrable ability in the use of computer and access to the internet.
