We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Order Processing Coordinator:

  • Manages the order processing system, including receiving and efficiently coordinating with the warehouse for timely fulfillment.

Logistics Coordinator:

  • Coordinates transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery, manage transportation costs, and maintain high service levels.

Coordinate Vehicle Fleet Operations:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleets, including scheduling. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of pharmaceutical products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and warehouses to maintain adequate stock levels.

Route Planning and Optimization:

  • Develop efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption.
  • Utilize route optimization software and GPS tracking systems to monitor vehicle movements.

Supervise Warehouse Operation:

  • Monitor warehouse activities to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of products.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse organization.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, invoices, and other documentation related to vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and driver logs.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to drivers and warehouse staff on safe handling practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development within the operation.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor expenses related to vehicle operation, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive.
  • Computer-literate
