The
Federal Polytechnic, Ukana - The Federal Government of Nigeria in pursuance to the Act to establish Polytechnics in various parts of the country approved the establishment of the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Akwa Ibom State on Monday 9th June, 2014. The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the four newly established Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.

Requirements
- Candidate must have a good Master’s or doctorate degree in relevant discipline with twenty (20) years cognate teaching and applied research experience and scholarship in Polytechnic/University
- Candidate must have at least a master’s degree in Computer Science/Science Laboratory Technology/Statistics or Mathematics & Statistics from a reputable University
- Candidate must have at least five papers of scholarly and research publications read in National and International conferences/seminar.
- Candidate must have four additional papers published in reputable journals.
- Candidate must be a member of any relevant professional body
- Candidate should have entrepreneurial drive.
- Candidate must have sufficient administrative experience.
