Job Title: IT Technical Support Officer

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• IT support specialists provide technical assistance to users of computer systems and networks.
• They may work with internal clients or external customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure: Set up and configure hardware, software, systems, and networks
• Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Maintain: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Provide support: Help users with technical problems over the phone, in person, or online
• Train: Teach users how to use software and hardware
• Test: Test new technology and applications
• Plan: Plan and perform scheduled maintenance upgrades
• Document: Create documentation, including screenshots and video tutorials
• Escalate: Escalate complex problems to higher levels

Requirements

• HND qualification with 3 - 4 years of experience.

Skills:

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Ability to understand system interdependencies
• Ability to demonstrate cybersecurity best practices

Work environment:

• May work in-house, for a particular organization
• May provide support to other businesses, customers, or on an ad hoc basis.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
