The
Federal Polytechnic, Ukana - The Federal Government of Nigeria in pursuance to the Act to establish Polytechnics in various parts of the country approved the establishment of the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Akwa Ibom State on Monday 9th June, 2014. The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the four newly established Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.

Requirements
- Candidate must have at least a master’s degree in Computer Science/Science Laboratory Technology/Statistics or Mathematics & Statistics from a reputable University at least nine (9) years or doctorate degree with 5 years teaching/research or industrial work experience.
- Must have published at least five (5) conference/seminar papers, two (2) journal articles or one chapter standard textbook(s) contribution.
