We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Professional Driver

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of passengers, goods, or materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist passengers with boarding and luggage, if applicable.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and security.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of the vehicle.
• Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow assigned routes and use navigation tools when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required, depending on the job role.
• Proven experience as a professional driver, chauffeur, or commercial driver.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
• Ability to operate GPS and navigation systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and handle cargo when necessary.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Should be 40 years and above

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Defensive driving certification.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• First Aid and CPR certification (for passenger transport).
• Experience in logistics, rideshare, delivery services, or corporate driving.
