Job Title: Senior Technology Consultant (Engineering Manager)

Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Consultant (Engineering Manager) to join our Technical Products and Consulting (TPC) team. 
• As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products while maintaining a strategic focus on innovation, scalability, and client management.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to multiple outsourced development teams.
• Handle client accounts independently, representing the TPC desk and the firm.
• Review and assess technical proposals, designs, and code contributions from external teams.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and collaboration among development teams.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical problem-solving.

Key Performance Indicators

• Increase efficiency of outsourced development teams by 50% through improved technical leadership and guidance.
• Achieve a 20% reduction in technical debt through rigorous code review and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.
• Maintain a feedback score of 90% or higher from team members on technical leadership and guidance.
• Achieve a compliance rate of 95% or higher for adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies, architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with geographically distributed and outsourced development teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages, modern software development tools, and cloud platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
