Job Title: Architectural Designer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to design, plan, and oversee the construction of buildings and infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and sustainability practices.
• They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and detailed construction drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborate with clients to determine design requirements, budgets, and project goals.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, zoning laws, and safety standards.
• Work with engineers and construction teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical elements.
• Utilize sustainable and innovative design solutions to enhance efficiency and aesthetics.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in architectural design, project management, or construction.
• Licensed or certified by a relevant professional body (e.g., ARCON, RIBA, AIA) will be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D Max, Lumion, or other architectural design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design principles.
• Ability to create 3D renderings, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and creativity.

Salary
N150,000 - N230,000 monthly.
