Job Title: Utility Technician

Job Summary

• The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient operation of utility equipment to support the overall functioning of the facility.
• The technician will also assist in installations, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of utility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and take corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure optimal performance of utility systems.
• Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of utility equipment and components.
• Monitor utility usage and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Candidates should possess an OND/ B.Sc. In Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician
• Experienced working as a Utility Technician in a manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
