Electrical Fitter at Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) - 2 Openings

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) is one of the eleven electricity distribution companies that emerged after the unbundling of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).The company is saddled with the primary responsibility of distributing and marketing electricity to end users within the five states in the South-East geo-political zone; namely: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, with a total of 18 Business Districts offices across these states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Locations: EEDC District Offices
Job Type: Full Time
Vacancy: Two (2) Openings

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Maintenance of Transformers.
• Installation and Maintenance of Feeder Pillar Unit.
• Construction and provision of new earthen system and improvement of old ones in the Substations.
• Installation and Maintenance of Circuit Breakers, Sockets, Ring main Unit.
• Weeding of Distribution Substation

Qualification and Experience

• O’Level and above.
• Applicant must show certification of any level in Electrical Electronics Engineering field.
• Must have between one (1) to five (5) years’ Experience
• Age required : 25 to 35 years.
