Job Title: Business Development Manager (Solar Energy)

Location: Lekki, Alaba - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • The Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing Erisco’s presence in the solar energy market by developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales of solar energy products and services. 
  • This individual will be responsible for identifying market trends, managing client relationships, and promoting the adoption of solar energy solutions across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar energy market within Lekki and Alaba.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including businesses, governmental organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive sales efforts for solar energy products and services, including preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to understand emerging trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Represent Erisco at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to increase brand visibility and business growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy or solar energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of the solar energy market, systems, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing business deals and driving growth.
  • Familiarity with the local market dynamics in Lekki and Alaba.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainable development.
