Job Title: General Manager - Finance and Human Resources

Job Summary
- Our client urgently requires the services of a dynamic and result-oriented finance professional with experience in the management of people, as General Manager, Finance and Human Resources (GM, FHR).
- The successful candidate is expected to spearhead finance and human resources functions with integrity and strategic insight, to support the continued viability and profitability of the company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper books of accounts and prepare monthly income statements, quarterly management accounts, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Provide strategic guidance and financial analysis to support decision-making processes and long-term planning.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to minimize tax liabilities.
- Design and implement human resource policies, programs, and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain talents.
- Lead, coordinate, manage, and supervise the Finance & HR team using various motivational and performance-driven approaches.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and integrity across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher National Diploma/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Professional accounting certification: ICAN, ACCA or its equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Finance and Accounting role, with at least 5 years in a management position, preferably in an investment company
- Understanding Human Resource Management principles, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
- Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
