Reime West Africa is a fully owned subsidiary of a global brand with head office at Casablanca in Morocco that provides Telecom Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Services to Telecom companies in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
ISO and Certification Management:

  • Maintain and ensure conformance toISO 45001certification across all Reime’s operations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Work closely withGroup HSEto align HSE objectives.
  • Providepractical, hands-onsupport to management and staff to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate withHR, Operations, and Supply Chainon HSE-related activities.

Risk Assessment:

  • Conduct and reviewRisk Assessmentsacross Reime’s operations

Communication & HSE Initiatives:

  • Develop and leadHSE communication initiativesto enhance awareness.
  • Establish and manageHealth, Safety, Environment, and Energy Teamsat all locations.

Tracking & Reporting:

  • Maintain acompany-wide tracking systemfor HSE objectives, incident records, audits, and training matrices.
  • Provideregular HSE performance reportsfor management, from Functional Operations to Management level.

Training & Development:

  • DeliverHSE trainingat all levels, either directly or through external providers.
  • Establish and manage a network of external suppliers forspecialist HSE training.

Contract & Supplier Management:

  • ProvideHSE expertisefor vendor questionnaires, RFPs, and commercial contracts.
  • DevelopHSE plansin collaboration with Engineers and Managers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact forclient HSE representativesduring audits and contract discussions.

Legislative Compliance:

  • Stay up to date withHSE legislationand ensure Reime’s compliance across all locations.
  • Implement necessary process improvements to maintain full legislative compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety OR NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (Environmental Management Certificate) or equivalent

Experience:

  • 10yrs+ HSE experience is required.

Knowledge:

  • A comprehensive knowledge of Nigeria Health & Safety legislation
