Description
- We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Medical Officers to join our dynamic team and make a difference in providing top-notch healthcare services to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations, taking detailed patient histories and performing diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, enabling patient understanding and compliance.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up visits and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and emergency medical interventions when required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in medical practice.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the health village, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Valid medical license in Nigeria
- Proven experience as a Medical Officer or similar role in a healthcare institution
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient care and continuous learning
