Truck Mechanic (Air System) at Dogan's Sugar Limited

Dogan’s Sugar Limited is incorporated in July 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria as a European invested company for the will to produce quality sugar products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Mechanic (Air System)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle Air System to diagnose issues accurately
• Conduct routine Air System maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
• Repair or replace Air System Device when need arises.
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Requirements

• Proven experience as Air System Mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of Air System components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Should know all air system of trucks regardless of brands,
  Should know all valves, balloons of trucks.
• In any case, should go to outside to repair the trucks on the road,
• In any case, he will be requested to repair other classes of parts.
