Job Title: Instructor - Computing, Networking and IT Support

About Us

• They are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Computing, Networking, and IT Support Instructorto teach foundational and advanced concepts in IT systems, networking, and technical support.
• The ideal candidate will have real-world experience in IT and a passion for empowering learners with the skills needed to thrive in technology support roles.
• You will deliver hands-on instruction, foster student engagement, and prepare students for industry-standard certifications.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver courses on computing, networking, and IT support, covering topics such as:

• Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair
• IT support best practices and customer service
• Cloud technologies and virtualization (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware)
• Cybersecurity basics and IT compliance
• Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that simulate real-world IT environments.
• Prepare students for certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar credentials.
• Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with little or no prior technical experience.
• Provide personalized feedback and support to help students succeed academically and professionally.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure course content aligns with industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Stay updated on IT trends and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2-6 years experience
• Proven experience in IT, networking, and/or technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in a professional or academic setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with teaching platforms and tools (e.g., virtual labs, simulation software).
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like IoT, cloud computing, or cybersecurity.

Salary and Benefits

• N150,000 - N180,000 / Month.
