Sunlight Resources is a Food & Snack Production Company situated in the Mushin axis of Nigeria, that has been in business for more than 16 years. A business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria.

It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went onto design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavours, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp cracker.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description

• We are looking for a Packaging Machine Operator who will operate the process line without any downtime or break and monitor the product for its quality Requirements

Requirements

• Ensure to work with safety regulations and follow with utmost importance for creating a safe environment self and the team working with.
• Ensure a timely start of the production during the startup (Production starting after the planned shutdown or after the weekend break)
• Monitoring the batch mixing recipe on a frequent basis to ensure the standard of the product to maintained.
• Do not leave any mixed batch for long without using it in production.
• Close monitoring of the product for its shape and density to maintain the quality and also to control the waste.
• Do not deviate from the machine parameters which are given to run.
• Hourly updating of the production log book.
• Ensure GMP and GHP always to get the standard product at all times.
• Immediate information about any breakdown of any machine to the shift supervisor and the shift manager for immediate rectification.
• Do not keep any backup at any point of time without proper instruction from the shift manager/ production manager.
• Scaling of the product waste shift wise hand over to shift supervisor and ensure to reduce continuously.
• Proper documentation of all the production-related data.
• Maintain accurate records and registers of all the production activities in your shift.

Quality:

• Ensure that the production environment is conducive to the quality product.
• Ensure GMP and GHP are always in-line with international standards.
• Must live within close proximity or ready to relocate.

• Control on Process wastage below 1.0 %

Salary
N70,000 - N85,000 / Monthly Gross Pay with HMO, 13th Month & Leave.
