Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed regional targets.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of medical sales representatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and distributors.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
• Organize and oversee promotional activities, including CMEs and product presentations.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies.
• Monitor distributor stock levels and coordinate supply chain activities.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, micro biology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to analyze market trends and devise strategic sales plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
