Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
Working Hours: 9 am - 9 pm (4 times Weekly)

Job Overview

• A neighbourhood pharmacy and supermarket in Gbagada is seeking a qualified main pharmacist to provide patient care through accurate pharmaceutical advice and dispensing. 
• You will ensure proper medication management, patient counselling, and compliance with pharmaceutical standards while staying up-to-date with industry advancements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient clerking, offer recommendations, and refer to physicians when necessary.
• Compound and dispense medications as per prescriptions.
• Monitor customers’ drug therapies and advise on potential side effects.
• Provide drug information to patients and healthcare practitioners.
• Conduct health screenings and immunisations, and measure vitals such as blood pressure and sugar levels.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Manage pharmacy operations, including order verification, inventory control, and disposal of expired drugs.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Lead and train pharmacy staff, as needed.
• Perform other administrative and pharmacist tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with a valid practising licence.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry post NYSC. Experience with pharmaceutical drug distribution is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy softwares.
• Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / Month
