Job Title: Senior Production Engineer

Job Summary

• As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes and ensuring optimal performance in all aspects of production. 
• You will play a key role in driving continuous improvements in production efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness. 
• The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a focus on food manufacturing, combined with exceptional problem-solving skills and leadership ability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop and implement processes and systems to increase production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and manage a team of production engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food quality standards, and environmental requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in the production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with company goals and industry best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
• Manage the implementation of new technologies or processes to enhance production capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production systems, machinery, and engineering processes.
• Experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
