Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 PM - 8 PM WAT

Job Description

• This role is ideal for professionals with experience in construction and project management who are looking to make an impact in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Estimation: Review project plans, analyze construction drawings, and perform accurate material take-offs (MTOs).
• Procurement & Coordination: Obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Project & Construction Management: Track inventory, coordinate daily site activities, and assist in scheduling.
• Safety & Compliance: Assist with job site safety adherence and required inspections.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, update cost databases, and report project progress.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers to streamline operations.

Requirements

• Education: HND or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3 - 7 years relevant work experience
• Proven background in quantity surveying, construction, and project management.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and execution strategies.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or equivalent construction tools.

Soft Skills: 

• Analytical thinking, communication, organization, and problem-solving.
